Our First 100 Oak Trees Planted

We’re proud to share a major milestone for Trees with Roots - the successful supply and planting of our first 100 oak trees.

This special collection of 100 oak trees has been carefully grown from acorns gathered at sites across Scotland and Northumberland, each with its own story and connection to the surrounding landscape. These are not just standard saplings; they are acorn grown trees with genuine provenance and character.

The trees were selected to create a new woodland area with real depth and identity. By planting heritage oak saplingsand well-established oak tree seedlings sourced from significant locations, the aim was to give the woodland immediate interest while ensuring it develops into something distinctive over time. Instead of a uniform plantation, this is a woodland shaped by place - rooted in the landscapes of Scotland and Northumberland.

Planting 100 heritage trees for sale in one project is a significant step for us. It shows that landowners and clients are looking beyond volume alone - they want historic site oak trees that bring meaning as well as biodiversity value. A woodland planted with thoughtfully sourced stock not only supports wildlife but also reflects the story of the region.

This first large-scale order marks an exciting chapter for Trees with Roots. From small beginnings growing ancient oak saplings, we are now seeing our trees used to shape new landscapes in a way that respects and reflects the past.

We look forward to seeing this new woodland establish itself in the years ahead - 100 young oaks, each with strong roots and a story to tell.
